Jet Airways
Jet Airways is a private airline of India , having its base in Mumbai. Naresh Goyal is the owner of the country's largest private airline. Jet Airways is the country's second-biggest international airline after government owned Air India . Along with low cost carrier JetLite, Jet Airways operates over 400 flights daily to 62 domestic and international destinations.
Since its establishment the airline is known for its on time flight operations, world class in flight and on ground services. For its excellent services, Jet Airways has been honoured with a number of national and international awards.
Jet Airways Fleet
Jet Airways has a fleet of 87 aircrafts, claimed to be one of the youngest fleet in the world. The airlines fleet comprises technology advanced flights that include Airbus 330 - 200 (12), ATR 72 - 500 (14), Boeing 737 - 400 (03), Boeing 737 - 700 (13), Boeing 737 - 800 (33), Boeing 737 - 900 (02) and Boeing 777 - 300 ER (10).

Jet Airways History
Jet Airways began its domestic airline operations on 5th May 1993 with a fleet of four Boeing 737 - 300 aircraft. The present Chairman Naresh Goyal set up Jet Airways as a full-service scheduled airline to compete with government owned Indian Airlines.
On January 1995, Jet Airways got the scheduled airline status following amendments in 1953 Air Corporations Act. In March 2004, the airline started international operations to Sri Lankan capital Colombo and became an international carrier.
On October 13, 2008, Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal and Kingfisher Airline chief Vijay Mallya announced an alliance to overcome the recession. Highlights of the alliance are code-sharing on both domestic and international flights, combined fuel management to reduce cost, common ground handling and utilisation of crew.
Few days after the alliance with Kingfisher, Jet Airways laid off about 1900 employees. But, later, the airline Chief Naresh Goyal called back its sacked employees to work.

With over 357 flights daily Jet Airways serves 42 domestic destinations and 18 internationals destinations. International flights of Jet Aiways connect 18 destinations, namely Abu Dhabi, Dubai , New York / Newark, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Toronto, Brussels , Kuala Lumpur, Dammam, Colombo, Kuwait, Dhaka, London Heathrow, Doha and Muscat.
